Disk Cleanup

Disk Cleanup is a useful tool that is in Windows that you can use to free up disk space on your computer. Just follow the steps below to use it.

  1. Go to the start menu and search for disk cleanup. Then click on it.
  2. If you have access to an administrator account, click cleanup system files. If you do not, select what you would like to cleanup. You will be shown how much space you will gain. When you are ready click on ok. Disk cleanup will now run.
  3. If you were able to cleanup system files, you can do the same as the above but you will have additional items that you can cleanup.
